Six Sigma Belts

Six Sigma Belts are based on the level of competence in understanding related to Six Sigma concepts. Currently, there are 3 levels of Six Sigma Belts.

• Six Sigma Green Belts - Are project leaders capable of forming and managing Six Sigma teams and projects. Six Sigma Black Belts often assist green belts with their projects.


• Six Sigma Black Belts - Candidates for Six Sigma Black Belts are generally technically oriented individuals. Black Belt candidates usually possess a background that includes advanced mathematics and quantitative analysis.


• Six Sigma Master Black Belts - This is the highest level of technical and organizational proficiency. Master Black Belts provide technical leadership of the Six Sigma program. They must understand the mathematical theory on which the Six Sigma methods are based
